It's hard to see many birds in mid-winter at
least very close so we go more for the sunsets. |
I seldom miss grabbing some moon shots when the
present themselves. |
Dress warm! |

Sometimes looking away from the sun is just as
pretty. |

These ibis came through on April 25th. |
We went back a couple of days later and no ibis
but got this spotted sandpiper. |
And willets |
They weren't shy and Fely got quite close. |
We also got shots of swallows like this cliff
swallow |
The evening ended with a great sunset. |
This little Cattle Egret showed up an evening in
May. |
The Ibis lasted until June then they went
somewhere to nest, we assume. |
Barn Swallow |
One in a while I get one of these guys. |
The Great Egret came after the sun had set for
awile. |
I did manage to get one half-way decent picture
of a Night Hawk out of maybe 50. |
This is how we usually see them at a distance. |
The smoke sure brought a lot of firey suns. |

Lesser Sandpiper |
