One of the first things other photographers ask is what kind of gear do you use. What is below is my inventory. |

Nikon 18-70mm f3.5 DX kit lens that came
with the D70 I've taken a lot of photos with this lens. It is very clear but doesn't have much range. |

Sigma 10-20 f4 lens This is a really wide lens and has the advantage of giving extreme depth-of-field. |

Sigma 50mm f2.8 DG
macro This little lens is nice if you can get very close to the subject of the picture. |

Sigma APO 150 f2.8 macro lens This is the lens I use for most of my insects and a lot of the flower shots. It doesn't have stabilazation but with the newer cameras that isn't a big problem. |

Sigma 50-500
telephoto. This is a really big & heavy lens. It doesn't have motion stabilization so a person nearly has to use a tripod. I used it for a few years but it's too heavy for me now. |

Tamron 18-400 Fely & I both have these. My favorite lens, as it's range is from 18mm to 400mm ( the equavalent of 27mm to 600) on a full frame camera) and can be used for macro, scenics, or telephoto. It is very clear and has image stabilzation. |

Tamron 150-600 G2 telephoto My bird lens. This lens is equavelent to 225-900 on a full frame camera and the image stabilization is good enough to hand hold shots. As long as the light is good I use it and then use the 18 to 400 when light is low. |

Nikon SB 800 flash. I've had this flash about 15 years now and have nothing bad at all to say about it. |

Nikon R2 SB20 Micro
Flash This is the flash I use for macro work. Nice. |

Gitzo G220 Tripod
with Neewer Gimbal-style Head I've had the tripod for over 15 years and got the head last year. The head is a cheap Chienese knock off but works fine for a tenth the price. |
